Itinerant services

We offer services that take place within the child’s natural environment (home, preschool, daycare). Services are customized to meet your child’s needs, using a holistic approach.

Teletherapy

We do parent consults or direct teletherapy with your child.  Teletherapy has been successful addressing feeding concerns (cups, first foods, picky eating, etc.) This has been a valuable resource to families who do not have time to access their pediatrician or a clinic based setting for these services.  Teletherapy also can focus on articulation remediation, for preschoolers, or even for older students who no longer qualify for IEP services, but have remaining sound work (that stubborn R-sound!) that they want to address without leaving the home.

Consulting services

Accessing services through early intervention, committees on preschool education, and school age special education can be incredibly confusing and difficult. We offer services to act as a parent or student advocate. Ensure that your child is receiving the free and appropriate services they are entitled to with our help and reassurance. Some facts to remember about accessing services when your child is younger than 5 in Monroe County:


In Monroe County, and many other areas around the country, services for the birth-5 population are free.  To access early intervention evaluations and services (birth-age 3) contact your county. To access preschool evaluations and services (ages 3-5) contact your home school district.
